Overview
Located on the stunning north coast of Madeira, Adrenaline Adventures Porto Moniz introduces a new standard of outdoor excitement with a breathtaking combination of two world-class ziplines and the most spectacular giant swing in the world. Immersed in untouched nature, this project blends innovation, adrenaline, and sustainability to deliver an unforgettable adventure.
The park features two distinct zipline experiences. The first is a panoramic flight of 1 km, soaring up to 400 meters above the ground, offering riders a majestic view over the cliffs and lush valleys of Madeira. The second is a 600-meter adrenaline line, where participants can reach speeds of up to 110 km/h, making it one of the fastest ziplines in Europe.
What makes these ziplines truly unique is their self-sufficient design: they operate without electricity, powered instead by an innovative permanent-magnet braking system. This groundbreaking technology ensures a smooth, safe, and eco-friendly ride, setting a new benchmark in sustainable adventure attractions.
All structures have been built in wood, reinforcing the sense of adventure and blending harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. This natural integration enhances the immersive experience, where riders feel fully connected to the dramatic scenery of Madeira’s Atlantic coast.
Adding to the excitement, the park also features the “wow-factor” Giant Swing: a 20-meter-high pendulum suspended 200 meters above the Atlantic Ocean. Riders experience the pure thrill of launching into the void, with the ocean crashing beneath them and the horizon stretching endlessly ahead — a spectacle that is both exhilarating and awe-inspiring.
With its unique blend of innovation, sustainability, and natural beauty, Adrenaline Adventures Madeira has become a must-visit destination for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike. It’s not just an attraction, but an immersive celebration of Madeira’s wild landscapes and a bold new way to experience the island.
